Christmas Gift Ideas for a 20-something Woman Who Likes Art (AKA, me)

Yeah, it's only September, but it's also ALREADY SEPTEMBER! Christmas is just around the corner and with COVID making everything slow (production, shipping, etc.), you might want to get started shopping ASAP. We put aside money all year long to make sure we have a suitable Christmas budget. It's never too soon to prepare.

So, if there is a woman like me in your life, I have some gift ideas for you! Let's begin the list!

These alcohol markers blend seamlessly and don't color all streaky-like. They aren't as expensive as perhaps the more well-known COPIC brand alcohol markers, but Ohuhu markers are totally serviceable! You can get varying quantities for varying price points. I have the 80 piece set currently, but am considering getting more soon to replace my dead markers and to expand my options.

You may want to add on these flesh-tone markers as well, since, speaking from experience, your skin-tone markers will run out quickly if you like drawing people. Also, darker skin tones can be hard to pull from the regular variety pack.

If you like to draw, nothing is more annoying that constantly having to sharpen your pencil. But regular mechanical pencil lead is typically too hard and leaves an impression in the paper, even when you try to erase. Having a set with varying hardness and width will make sketching so much more fun!

This Galaxy Light Projector is kind of gimmicky, but look how pretty it will make your boring bedroom look! I have read reviews of this product and it seems like it functions pretty well. It is also a Bluetooth speaker, which I imagine doesn't emit the most high-quality sound, but it's still fun!

These are majorly in style right now, and the uglier and chunkier the better!

Fila makes a plethora of sneakers in this style, so you can gauge which color combos work the best for you or your giftee.

5. Roomba

This is a little more of an expensive option, but everyone who has a Roomba always talks about how amazing they are. I think it would be nice to have a little robot friend to finally vacuum under my bed for me.

If you need stocking-stuffers or have a few bucks left in your Christmas budget, stickers from Redbubble are a great option! If you know what TV shows or bands your giftee is into, then you can search for related designs.

I designed this Haikyuu!! sticker, for instance, and may order it for myself. You can put these on a water bottle or a bullet journal or a sketchbook or your art desk or whatever! It's a fun way to personalize your stuff.

8. Albums/Posters/Merch for Favorite Bands

I'm a fan of some classic Gen 2 K-Pop groups, such as Super Junior and SHINee and I'm always down for fun merch and collectibles for these groups! For instance, my Super Junior Album collection needs a few additions to be complete.

Posters, photo books, key chains, etc. are all fun options for K-Pop fans and music fans in general!

I recommend Oden's Eye Cosmetics for people who really like color and art. Their shimmer eye shadows are some of the sparkly-est! A new collection is dropping in 2 days and I may want to snag some for my own eye shadow collection.

Kailav is another great brand for art lovers. Their collections are inspired by fine art.

Products from Lush are almost universally loved by ladies. They smell good, have sustainable packaging, and are nice to look at. Nothing makes a woman feel more special than dipping into pretty swirly colors in a bath tub!

There you go! That's my Christmas List so far. Obviously, some items on this list are more crucial than others, but hopefully this inspires you and there are plenty of options for differing price ranges! Happy shopping and Merry Christmas (in September).
